Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to develop individualized treatment plans and administer hands-on therapy techniques including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises. Instruct patients on rehabilitation exercises, injury prevention, and mobility improvements while regularly monitoring progress to modify plans as needed. Maintain precise documentation in electronic medical record systems and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes. Prepare educational materials and workshops to empower patients and families in the recovery process. This home care role focuses on orthopedic patients recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic pain, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current and active Physical Therapist license in good standing in New Jersey
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting
- Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques
- Strong ability to utilize EMR platforms such as WebPT
