Job Summary
Conduct initial evaluations of patients, reviewing medical history and performing detailed assessments to form precise therapeutic recommendations. Implement individualized treatment protocols based on assessment data, including manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens, while monitoring and documenting changes in patients' conditions. Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans clearly to patients and families, involving them in setting attainable goals. Consult with other healthcare professionals to address interdisciplinary care needs and update care plans based on patient progress. Participate in community outreach and educational programs, promoting awareness and access to physical therapy services. This full-time role in Fort Myers, Florida, includes a salary of $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist
- Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and their families
