Job Summary
Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, functional capabilities, and limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and patient goals. Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like electrical stimulation or ultrasound. Provide hands-on therapy and educate patients about proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and injury prevention strategies. Regularly monitor patient progress throughout treatment, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to optimize recovery. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication. Maintain meticulous records of patient treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes to inform ongoing patient management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- At least one year of clinical experience treating a variety of conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- Experience in a rehabilitation facility or similar healthcare environment
