Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical conditions and develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans. Utilize therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to address patient needs. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes while documenting treatments, progress notes, and compliance accurately. Guide patients and families through exercises and preventative measures to promote self-management. Stay current with industry standards through ongoing education and assist in training newly graduated therapists.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications and electronic documentation
- Strong organizational capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to patient needs
- Current CPR certification
- A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Prior experience with rehabilitation methodologies or specialties like pediatrics, geriatrics, or neurology
