Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Utilize manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities to promote recovery and restore function. Document patient progress meticulously and modify treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback. Engage with patients and families to enhance their understanding of the therapeutic process while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care. Participate in community outreach programs to promote physical therapy awareness and preventive care. Work with diverse populations including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related conditions in a full-time onsite role in Winter Haven, FL.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
- A valid State License to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in computer skills and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with patients
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- Experience treating a variety of patient populations, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Advanced clinical skills and knowledge
