Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions, including reviewing medical history and performing relevant assessments to develop individualized treatment plans. Implement treatment protocols based on evolving patient presentations, continuously assessing response to therapy and adapting approaches as necessary. Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment strategies to patients and their families, involving them in setting achievable rehabilitation goals. Document patient progress accurately and timely, maintaining comprehensive records that reflect each patient's journey through care. Consult with other healthcare providers to adapt treatment plans according to emerging patient needs and any changes in health status. Manage time effectively, meeting productivity benchmarks while ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. Participate in hospital and community outreach programs, reinforcing the organization's commitment to patient education and accessibility. Engage in continuous education, pursuing professional development opportunities and mentoring students or new staff within the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a rehabilitation facility
- Current CPR certification

- Experience in manual therapy techniques and innovative rehabilitation practices
- Familiarity with various electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care efficiently
