Job Summary

Assist licensed Physical Therapists in conducting initial patient evaluations and ongoing assessments, adapting treatment plans and providing therapeutic exercises under their direction. Instruct patients in proper exercise techniques while monitoring safety, utilizing modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and therapeutic heat/cold to alleviate pain. Educate patients and families on home exercises and post-care, then thoroughly monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes in comprehensive records. Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care for individuals with injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Requires current California licensure, an Associate's degree, and two years of clinical experience. Full-time role at Retrieve Physical Therapy, Inc. in Los Angeles with a salary of $50,000 to $70,000 annually.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California
  • At least two years of clinical experience, demonstrating competence in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting
  • Solid understanding of physical therapy principles
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Genuine passion for patient care
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to explain procedures effectively and engage with patients and their families
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment

Desired Qualifications
