Job Summary
Assist licensed Physical Therapists in performing patient evaluations and treatment assessments, implementing personalized treatment plans and modifying exercise regimens under their guidance. Supervise and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises while utilizing modalities such as heat, cold therapy, and electrical stimulation based on individual responses. Educate patients and families on adherence to prescribed techniques, document progress meticulously, and collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care. Maintain detailed patient records to comply with regulatory standards. This full-time role requires an Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting, current California licensure, and one year of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California

- A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or related healthcare setting
- Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy principles and methodologies

- At least two years of experience as a PTA
