Job Summary
Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support civil litigation attorneys in plaintiff personal injury matters. Manage cases from intake through settlement or trial, maintain communication with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel; gather and organize medical records, billing records, wage loss documentation, and other damages evidence; draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, demand packages, and settlement documentation; coordinate treatment updates and track client progress; assist attorneys with trial preparation, mediation preparation, and deposition coordination; maintain case calendars and deadlines; review and summarize medical records and discovery materials; coordinate filing of pleadings in Texas state and federal courts; handle lien resolution and settlement disbursement coordination; work closely with attorneys to move cases efficiently toward resolution. Strong preference for 15–20 years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal/case management experience, familiarity with Texas procedures, and trial preparation experience.
Required Qualifications
- 15–20 years of plaintiff's personal injury paralegal and/or case management experience
- Strong knowledge of Texas personal injury litigation procedures and deadlines
- Experience handling catastrophic injury, trucking, premises liability, wrongful death, and/or complex litigation matters preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple active cases simultaneously
- Experience drafting demands, discovery, and litigation-related documents
- Familiarity with medical terminology, records, and billing analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software
- Trial preparation experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently while also functioning as part of a collaborative team
