Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders while creating home exercise programs for caregivers. Collaborate across medical disciplines to coordinate care and ensure compliance with agency policies, federal, state, and local laws. Complete weekly patient visits and meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs. Maintain understanding of expectations through regular meetings with agency personnel. Adhere to all rules, regulations, and codes of ethics applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Occupational Therapist
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (high-risk infant, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
