Job Summary
Provide compassionate pediatric care and assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting. Administer medications via J-Tube, monitor client health and development, and report changes to the supervising healthcare team. Maintain accurate documentation of all care and communicate effectively with families and the care team while adhering to infection control protocols. Work mostly dayshift with weekend availability (8a-4pm) in Elyria and nearby locations. Requires an unencumbered Ohio LPN license, minimum three years of clinical experience, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Unencumbered license in the State of Ohio
- Minimum three (1) year of documented clinical experience
- Strong clinical skills
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Certified CPR/BLS
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Licensed driver with reliable and insured automobile
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Up-to-date vaccinations including COVID-19, Influenza, and Hepatitis B
- Must be available to work in Elyria and nearby locations
- Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday: 8a-4pm
- Must be available for weekend support
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
