Experienced Parts Counterperson

Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish by reading catalogs, answering phone calls, and providing price quotes. Pull and fill orders from stock while maintaining weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy. Communicate with staff and customers professionally to converse effectively regarding parts status. Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock items or shop materials needing immediate attention, then locate parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders if necessary. Ensure all internal requests are billed on service repair orders and receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and clean driving record. Minimum two years of automotive parts counter experience is preferred.
