Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service to both retail and wholesale customers while assisting service technicians by accurately identifying and supplying the correct parts in a timely manner. Utilize dealership parts catalogs and inventory management systems to identify, source, and order parts, processing customer orders, special orders, returns, and warranty parts accurately. Maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate with the Parts Manager to source backordered or hard-to-find parts, and keep the department organized, clean, and stocked. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Work collaboratively with the Service and Sales Departments to support dealership operations.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of automotive dealership parts counter experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the dealership for extended periods
- Frequently lift and carry parts weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb as needed while retrieving inventory
- Comfortable working in both warehouse and customer-facing environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using dealership management systems such as Dealertrack
- Experience working with Toyota OEM parts
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and manufacturer catalogs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
