Board-certified Hospice & Palliative Medicine physician sought to join Methodist Medical Group in Richardson, TX. Responsibilities include providing inpatient palliative care consultations for hospitalized patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses, leading and participating in family meetings and goals-of-care discussions, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, social work, chaplaincy, case management), supporting transitions of care with hospice when appropriate, and participating in quality improvement initiatives and program development. Candidate will demonstrate strong communication and teamwork, and contribute to durable, patient-focused care within a growing multidisciplinary group.
