Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' musculoskeletal function and mobility, creating personalized treatment plans that incorporate patient feedback and progression tracking. Implement hands-on therapeutic modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education sessions while maintaining accurate documentation for compliance and billing. Coordinate care with referring clinicians to ensure comprehensive rehabilitation strategies and participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress. Work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our state-of-the-art facility serving diverse populations recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A completed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification.
- A valid and active Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Maryland.
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and treatment protocols suitable for outpatient settings.
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting.
- Experience with specific patient populations, such as sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, or chronic pain management.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to manage documentation and billing efficiently.
