Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments to understand physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs. Develop and implement customized treatment plans using evidence-based practices, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to individual recovery pathways. Provide hands-on treatment while educating patients on their condition, recovery strategies, and self-management techniques. Regularly monitor patient progress, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize recovery and achieve therapy milestones. Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, discussing referrals and follow-ups. Work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient therapy setting
- familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation techniques
- Office hours are weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
