Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans aligned with individual goals. Administer appropriate interventions based on physician's care plans, best practices, and safety protocols while implementing therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques. Monitor and document patient progress, educating patients and families on treatment options and home recovery strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to provide an integrated approach to patient care. Stay informed about advancements in physical therapy practices and implement new findings into your therapeutic approach. This full-time role focuses on outpatient orthopedics for individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain issues.
Required Qualifications
- A valid state Physical Therapy license
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Current certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office
- A solid knowledge base in treating various orthopedic conditions
