Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients' needs for orthopedic physical therapy, collaborating closely with physicians to develop tailored treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based care that adheres to agency policies and professional standards, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort. Implement comprehensive treatment regimens, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities where appropriate. Educate patients and their families about ongoing treatment options and at-home exercise strategies to enhance recovery. Effectively document all patient interactions, treatment progress, and practical responses to interventions, ensuring a seamless communication flow with other healthcare professionals involved in patient care. Contribute to educational workshops for patients and their families regarding injury prevention and recovery strategies. This full-time position is located in Daytona Beach, Florida, with a salary range of USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A valid state Physical Therapy license in Florida
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Required certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR
- Proficient in treating diverse health conditions
- Knowledgeable in current guidelines and methodologies
- Strong word processing and computer skills to maintain patient records and documentation efficiently
