Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, mobility, and functional abilities, then design and modify individualized treatment strategies based on assessments and rehabilitation goals. Utilize therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, exercises, and modalities like electrical stimulation and ultrasound to alleviate pain and enhance mobility. Provide education on injury prevention and body mechanics, while continuously monitoring and documenting patient progress to adapt treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and maintain accurate, confidential patient records. Operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our Sparks, Nevada outpatient facility. Candidates require a current state license and a minimum of one year of clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A current and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- More extensive backgrounds (5 years or more) in outpatient therapy settings
- Experience treating conditions related to orthopedics, sports medicine, and neurorehabilitation
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) software
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms
