Experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, mobility, and functional capabilities. Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments, utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound. Instruct patients on injury prevention techniques and best practices for rehabilitation at home, while monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide integrated care for patients managing back and neck pain, joint issues, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Work onsite at our outpatient facility in Houston from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Texas
- Board certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- A minimum of five years of clinical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Proficiency in advanced physical therapy techniques and treatment modalities
- Excellent analytical skills for patient assessment and treatment planning
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with patients and colleagues alike
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with sports rehabilitation or chronic pain management
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably in a physical therapy context
- Specialization in specific therapeutic modalities or certifications in specialized treatment techniques
