Job Summary
Conduct individualized assessments and design tailored treatment plans for diverse outpatient patients, managing caseloads to address unique rehabilitation goals. Implement evidence-based orthopedic care, including progressive exercise programs and non-surgical interventions, while monitoring progress and updating strategies based on patient feedback. Collaborate with physician assistants and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care and maintain detailed documentation in WebPT. Operate within a 9 am to 5 pm schedule Monday through Friday in our Stafford, VA facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- An active and impeccable Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia
- No sanctions or disciplinary actions on license
- Proven expertise in various manual therapy techniques
- Exercise prescription skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in the use of electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- At least two years of hands-on experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Demonstrated history of developing successful treatment programs tailored to diverse patient needs related to rehabilitation, functional mobility, and pain management
