Job Summary
Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Implement evidence-based treatment protocols while maintaining accurate documentation of care activities and progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to modify treatment strategies and participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless transitions to home or further care. Engage in facility meetings and organizational initiatives aimed at improving patient access and treatment outcomes. This full-time role includes a structured schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, at our onsite Rehabilitation Center in Bonita Springs, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
- Current CPR certification.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, facilitating efficient documentation and patient management.
- Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities and treatment techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
- A track record of engaging with community health initiatives or educational programming related to physical therapy.
