Job Summary
Establish personalized treatment plans and manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour to enhance care quality. Implement cost-conscious therapies targeting range of motion, strength, and mobility while promoting non-surgical alternatives to pain management. Utilize diverse rehabilitation techniques and modalities to optimize recovery, design individualized fitness programs, and maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic approaches and continuously assess treatment efficacy to adjust therapies as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
- No disciplinary actions or board actions should have been taken against the license holder.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and their application in patient care.
- Ability to design effective and safe exercise regimens based on patient evaluation.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly familiarity with WebPT.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
- A background in utilizing evidence-based practice to inform treatment decisions.
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration or working alongside healthcare professionals to improve treatment outcomes.
