Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients using advanced assessment techniques to determine individual physical therapy needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to optimize recovery. Utilize specialized modalities such as electrical stimulation and ultrasound therapy while documenting progress and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Educate patients on wellness strategies to maintain health outside therapy sessions and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to adjust strategies based on feedback. Work primarily with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and post-operative rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Nevada Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in orthopedic rehabilitation practices
- A strong desire to prioritize patient outcomes, demonstrating compassion and personalized attention in delivering care
