Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' strength, mobility, and physical function to establish baseline data and treatment needs. Develop customized therapy programs aimed at restoring function, improving mobility, and alleviating pain based on evidence-based practices. Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise regimes, neuromuscular reeducation, and specialized equipment to enhance patient outcomes. Instruct and guide patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, injury prevention techniques, and home exercise programs to sustain functional improvement. Cultivate seamless communication with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment plans. Monitor progress through regular reassessments, providing adjustments to treatment programs as necessary to ensure effective recovery. Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Demonstrated clinical competency in orthopedic and sports medicine settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- A deep-rooted passion for assisting patients in their rehabilitation journey and achieving significant recovery milestones
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy
- Experience or certification in specialized therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques
- Proficiency in electronic medical records management
- Familiarity with practice management systems
