Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and implement individualized therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to adjust treatment plans based on progress, while educating patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention. Document all interactions accurately in electronic health records and maintain excellent communication with caregivers. Manage diverse orthopedic, pediatric, and sports medicine populations to help patients regain functionality and independence. Achieve minimum utilization goals to support clinic operational objectives.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy
- Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with word processing and electronic health record systems
- A demonstrated ability to connect with patients and establish trusting relationships
- A strong desire to engage positively with patients and collaborate effectively with team members
- Capacity to build and maintain relationships within the local community
- Experience in specialized therapy areas such as sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, or pediatric physical therapy
- Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation technologies and evidence-based techniques for patient assessment and treatment
