Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to identify impairments and create customized treatment plans. Execute therapeutic interventions focusing on mobility, strength, and pain reduction for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure seamless follow-through on rehabilitation goals. Lead clinical teaching by mentoring interns and new staff, while preparing annual in-service training sessions on clinical skills and continuous learning. Participate in ongoing professional development and research initiatives to foster innovation in patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy
- Experience in clinical education or mentoring of physical therapy students and interns
