Job Summary
Conduct orthopedic outpatient physical therapy for post-surgical patients, athletes, and individuals with chronic pain, maintaining a manageable load of one patient per hour. Develop and execute comprehensive care plans utilizing evidence-based techniques, manual therapy, and tailored exercise regimens to reduce medication dependency and enhance mobility. Evaluate treatment effectiveness, document services per regulatory requirements, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote healthy lifestyle choices. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our state-of-the-art sports medicine facility.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
- Valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Fredericksburg, VA
- No board actions or disciplinary actions against your license
- Strong skills in manual therapy and physical rehabilitation techniques
- Competence in developing effective and individualized exercise regimens
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, and the ability to utilize it effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques
- Familiarity with sports injuries
