Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to identify mobility limitations and functional deficits, then develop and implement evidence-based rehabilitation protocols focusing on strength, flexibility, and balance. Lead hands-on therapy sessions utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities while documenting progress meticulously in the electronic health record system. Engage in clinical teaching by providing mentorship to interns and residents, and prepare at least one in-service training annually on emerging practices. Work with diverse populations recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions like arthritis in a collaborative outpatient environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- An active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in orthopedic physical therapy
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care, demonstrating compassion and empathy in all interactions
Desired Qualifications
- Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy
