Experienced Orthodontic Assistant

Experienced Orthodontic Assistant to provide chairside support for braces, Invisalign, and clear aligners in a fast-paced in-office setting. Responsibilities include chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures, taking digital impressions, X-rays, photos, and intraoral scans (iTero experience a plus), preparing and sterilizing instruments, educating patients and parents on oral hygiene and appliance care, placing/removing archwires, separators, bands, and attachments, assisting in orthodontic charting and updating patient records, tracking lab cases and coordinating appliance delivery, and supporting efficient patient flow and appointment scheduling. Requires Maryland Dental Assistant Certification & Radiology License, 1–2 years of orthodontic assisting experience, familiarity with orthodontic appliances and digital workflows, and strong communication and organizational skills.
