Job Summary
Experienced or Senior Airworthiness & Regulatory Engineer at Boeing in Arlington, VA. Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to certification, safety, and regulatory developments for emerging technology and autonomy; develops impact assessments for regulatory policy changes; leads cross-organizational teams to respond to policy changes and advocates Boeing objectives; communicates on regulatory issues with FAA and other external bodies; represents Boeing on technical committees and at conferences in the DC area; requires strong communication and stakeholder-management skills and willingness to travel up to 10%. Opportunities to broaden expertise across engineering disciplines and work with Boeing subsidiaries; relocation available based on eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to travel 10%
- Experience developing, leading, and executing projects with formal processes
