Job Summary
Conduct general nursing care, assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in diverse acute health care settings. Delegate nursing tasks to LPNs and UAPs per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act while actively participating in process improvement activities for clinical quality and safety. Maintain a 30-minute on-call response time with a variable shift schedule of 24 weekly hours. Requires a current Ohio RN license, BLS certification, and over one year of recent intraoperative experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state
- BLS certification
- BSN required at 5 years of employment
- Must have recent experience working as a staff nurse in an intraoperative setting (greater than 1 year)
- Must commit to on-call responsibilities with a firm 30-minute response time
