Job Summary
Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures while performing in-house Idexx laboratory testing and diagnostics. Take and process digital radiographs, administer medications and vaccines, and monitor anesthesia and patient recovery to ensure safety. Maintain accurate medical records, educate clients on care plans, safely restrain patients, and care for hospitalized individuals. Keep the hospital clean and organized while supporting a collaborative team culture with opportunities for professional growth and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Previous Veterinary Technician experience
- Strong technical and patient care skills
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Knowledge of laboratory diagnostics and radiology
- Excellent communication and client education skills
- Compassionate, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth
- State license
- VTNE exam
