Job Summary
Assist patients in the eyewear selection process, educating on quality choices, lenses, and frame styling to fit their lifestyle and prescription. Calculate insurance co-pays based on eligibility, enter spectacle orders, monitor status for timely delivery, and notify patients. Receive and verify orders, schedule dispensing, and follow up on adaptation to eyewear/contacts. Perform spectacle adjustments and repairs; troubleshoot patient concerns; educate on care of prescribed eyewear. Maintain inventory and displays of optical merchandise; monitor patient flow and communicate any delays to other departments. Work in a professional medical office environment.
