Experienced Operator- Ft. Meade, MD

Experienced operator needed to handle heavy civil construction equipment at Harnden Construction Services. Responsibilities include operating multiple heavy machines (excavators, bulldozers, rollers, pavers, track hoes, dump trucks), performing daily equipment checks, greasing and maintaining machines, ensuring proper fluids, reporting maintenance needs to the shop foreman, adhering to OSHA and company safety policies, and assisting laborers/supervisors as required. Must possess 1-year certificate from an accredited college/technical school or 6 months of related experience (or equivalent combinations), and be able to pass a practical skills test for heavy equipment. Preferred candidates may have 2+ years of related experience and OSHA safety certifications. Strong communication skills and ability to interpret written/oral instructions are essential; ability to meet physical requirements and handle job-specific demands is required.
