Job Summary
Break down beef, pork, lamb, and poultry products while operating and sanitizing all equipment in a safe manner. Deliver exceptional customer service by explaining cooking techniques for all meats and cuts. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while maintaining flexibility for various tasks, evening shifts, weekends, and holidays. This union position offers up to $30.67/hour with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus a pension program and paid time off. Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Meat Clerk/Cutter
- Demonstrated ability in knife handling and use of other cutting equipment
- Extensive knowledge of meat cuts and cooking techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evening, weekends, and some holidays
- Local candidates only
- Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs
- Standing: Up to 8 hours per day
- Seating: Up to 1 hours per day
- Walking: Up to 8 hours per day
- Reaching: Up to 6 hours per day
