Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer role supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security manufacturing across multiple sites. Develops production and tooling methodologies, leads manufacturing plans, participates in IPTs to integrate cross-disciplinary solutions, ensures producibility of designs, applies lean principles, validates production readiness, and documents best practices. Requires strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration with suppliers and customers; 5+ years manufacturing experience; BS in engineering or related field; US person for export control; hybrid work arrangement with onsite activity at listed Boeing sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years in a manufacturing/production environment
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and computer-aided process planning
- 3+ years’ experience with MES/GOLD or equivalent planning systems such as MESci and/or GOLD
- Experience supporting aircraft production, development, and/or sustainment programs
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- US Person per export control requirements; eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
