Job Summary
Experienced Manufacturing Engineer at The Boeing Company (BDS) supporting multiple ME Home Office initiatives; responsible for developing and implementing production and tooling methodologies, leading manufacturing plans, conducting producibility and variation analyses to ensure process capability, documenting producibility best practices, solving technically impactful problems, and applying lean principles. Hybrid on-site work at listed locations with collaboration across engineering disciplines, suppliers, and customers; must meet export control requirements and possess a relevant engineering degree and several years of manufacturing experience. Emphasis on communication, teamwork, and project management to deliver cost, schedule, and quality deliverables across various sites including Mesa, Kennedy Space Center, Huntsville, St. Charles, Houston, Cleveland, Oklahoma City, Huntington Beach, Ogden, Albuquerque, El Segundo, Dallas, West Hills, Palmdale, Philadelphia, Everett, San Antonio, Kent, Arlington, Tukwila, and New Orleans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years in manufacturing/production environment
- ME processes and procedures including MES
- experience with MESci and/or GOLD
- 1+ years’ experience in project management
- ability to travel up to 10%
- US Person for export control compliance
