Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer at Boeing's Defense, Space & Security site group who will develop and implement production and tooling methodologies, lead and implement manufacturing plans, conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure process capability, and help document producibility best practices. Requires collaboration across engineering disciplines and suppliers, strong problem-solving and communication skills, lean/Six Sigma familiarity, and compliance with export-control and U.S. Person requirements. The role is hybrid, with some onsite work at listed U.S. locations and potential future changes at the hiring team’s discretion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 5+ years working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Computer Aided Process Planning
- 3+ years’ experience with MESci and/or GOLD
- 1+ years’ experience in project management
- Ability to travel up to 10%
