Job Summary
Create and manage a classroom promoting preschool readiness, emotional intelligence, and social skill development while mentoring assistant teachers. Develop lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices and individualized instruction to foster pre-literacy, numeracy, and language development. Lead circle time, group activities, and learning centers while utilizing observation tools to track student progress. Maintain a structured, safe environment aligned with NAEYC standards and implement positive behavior guidance strategies. Communicate daily with families through updates and progress reports, supporting attendance at school events and celebrations. Collaborate with administrators to ensure alignment with school goals and state licensing standards.
