Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to create and manage a nurturing preschool environment, develop lesson plans, promote early academic skills, and guide assistant teachers while communicating with families effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (required or in progress)
- Minimum 12 years of classroom experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center
- Proven ability to lead classroom activities and routines with confidence and consistency
- Strong knowledge of child development, learning domains, and early intervention best practices
- Effective communication skills with children, families, and co-workers
- A love for young children and a commitment to their growth and well-being
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with curriculum models such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori is preferred
- Knowledge of state child care licensing regulations and quality standards
- Background in inclusive education, sensory integration, or differentiated instruction
