Job Summary
Experienced pipe layer for construction projects in Harrisburg, PA. The role involves performing pipe-related duties on utility construction sites, including setting up tools, measuring and staking, aligning and sealing pipe sections, operating equipment (laser, backfill tools, cut saws), erecting scaffolding and shoring, mixing concrete, leveling earth, finishing concrete surfaces, and ensuring pipe slope and proper connections. Candidates should have strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, fit-testing and PPE know-how, physical endurance to meet demanding lift requirements, and familiarity with underground utilities and safety certifications. The position is contract-based with competitive pay commensurate with experience, and benefits are highlighted.
