Job Summary
Laborer position with Landis C. Deck & Sons Division of H&K Group in Bernville, PA. Responsibilities include performing construction duties across piping, paving, concrete work, forms, scaffolding, traffic control, and operating or coordinating use of equipment (e.g., Wacker, cutting tools) to meet grade specifications, while adhering to OSHA and safety policies. Tasks include measuring distances from grade stakes, driving stakes, mixing concrete, aligning and joining pipe sections, erecting scaffolding and shoring, directing traffic, and ensuring proper pipe slope and grade through laser or conventional methods. Requires physical capability (lifting up to 50 pounds) and demonstrated problem solving, mathematical aptitude, and effective communication. Required Qualifications
- One month of related experience and/or training
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Mathematical skills including ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
