Job Summary
Experienced Labor & Birth RN role at Mercy Hospital St. Louis focusing on delivery and ante/postpartum care, including low- to high-risk obstetric patient management, collaboration with OB hospitalists, OB anesthesia, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists. Provides 24/7 coverage with safe nurse-to-patient ratios (Labor & Birth 1:2; High-Risk 1:1 based on acuity), ongoing education and certification support, leadership collaboration, and opportunities for growth. Includes a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, shift differentials, tuition reimbursement, RN-to-BSN pathway, and various benefits for those working 16+ hours per week. Eligible roles offer flexible FTE options (Full-Time/Part-Time/PRN).
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year Labor & Birth RN experience
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- Active RN license (state or compact)
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP
- ACLS
- Preferred: RNC-OB, C-EFM (encouraged, not required)
