Job Summary
Lead end-to-end preparation of EU proposals including conceptualization, consortium building, benchmarking, and coordination for Horizon Europe, H2020, BBI JU, and CBE JU calls. Design work plans, budgets, and partner contributions while developing market studies, exploitation pathways, and innovation business plans. Coordinate inputs from multiple partners to ensure consistency and compliance, then support project implementation and reporting upon award. Progressively manage client relationships and strategic positioning with limited supervision. This role sits within Innovarum, a European innovation consultancy shaping the future of the agri-food sector and bioeconomy.
Required Qualifications
- Intermediate experience level (3+ years of experience)
- Development of 4-5 EU proposals
- Proposal writing and project management
- C2 English & Spanish level
- Scientific university degree at master's level (agricultural engineering, environmental sciences, biology...etc)
- Experience in the writing of 2 full collaborative EU proposals (+10 partners) from beginning to end (H2020 / Horizon Europe / BBI JU / CBE JU...etc)
- Experience in technical roles requiring strong writing skills (reports, scientific documents, technical documentation)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Proven hands-on EU proposal writing experience
- Overall track record of 4–5 EU proposals (H2020 / Horizon Europe / BBI JU / CBE JU...)
- Experience in the writing of 2 full collaborative EU proposals (+10 partners) from beginning to end: idea conceptualisation, consortium building, overall writing supervision and integration, budget and work packages development, and submission through the Funding & Tenders Portal
- C2 level English and Spanish, written and oral
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in EU grant management, including technical and financial reporting
- Some extra background in business/economics
- Strong understanding of European R&I funding structures and evaluation logic
- International experience (e.g., living abroad)
