Job Summary
Lead Teacher for an Infant Classroom (6 weeks to 18 months) in Columbia, SC. Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences; foster a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom; support daily care routines (feeding, diapering, transitions); build positive relationships with children, families, and team members; observe and document developmental milestones; demonstrate professionalism, leadership, and teamwork. Must have experience with infants, strong communication skills, and availability within the 9:00 AM–6:00 PM schedule. Required certifications include South Carolina Health & Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain) and First Aid/CPR certification. Ongoing training and professional development opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with infants (6 weeks–16 months)
- Availability to work 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Early Childhood Education coursework or related education preferred
- Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) the free 15-hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification before orientation
- Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) First Aid/CPR certification
