Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans for individuals with orthopedic issues, chronic pain, and post-surgical needs. Administer hands-on therapy techniques including therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, and modalities while providing education on body mechanics and injury prevention. Monitor progress meticulously to adjust interventions and maintain accurate patient records. Collaborate with healthcare specialists to ensure a holistic approach to care within the patient's home. Full-time role with Monday through Friday hours from 9 am to 5 pm.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Board certification by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
- A minimum of one year of clinical experience in diverse treatment settings
- Proficiency in various therapeutic techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess patients' rehabilitation needs effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- At least three to five years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting
- Experience in developing treatment plans for a wide range of physical rehabilitation issues
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation practices
- Experience in an in-home care environment
