Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, cooling, and refrigeration units for commercial and residential customers, including air conditioning systems, chillers, and heat pumps. Diagnose faults in HVAC systems to ensure optimal efficiency, perform routine maintenance such as filter replacement and electrical inspections, and respond to emergency call-outs by identifying problems and implementing solutions. Provide technical support and advice to customers, explain complex issues clearly, and ensure all work adheres to company procedures and health and safety regulations while keeping accurate records of work performed. This full-time role in Houston, TX requires 3-5 years of HVAC experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel to various job sites.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- A thorough understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Experience working with commercial HVAC systems and chillers
- Proficiency in diagnosing and fixing mechanical faults
- A valid driver's license
- The ability to travel to various job sites
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear, non-technical manner
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of current health and safety regulations
