Job Summary
Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems, clearly explain service options to customers, and complete high-quality repairs for clients throughout Midlothian, TX. Ensure client satisfaction by recommending upgrades and additional services when appropriate, while maintaining a respectful and professional demeanor to foster positive relationships. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an on-call rotation, utilizing multimeters, gauges, and ServiceTitan for invoicing and scheduling. Maintain a low call-back percentage and adhere to safety protocols while working in extreme temperatures and confined spaces.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- EPA Section 608 certification
- TDLR registration
- NATE certification
- Proficiency with electrical and mechanical systems
- Valid driver's license
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in extreme temperatures, and work in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)
- Ability to use multimeters, gauges, and similar tools
- Ability to use ServiceTitan (or similar software) for invoicing and scheduling
- Commitment to safety
- Ability to explain technical information in plain English and calm frustrated customers
- Ability to think critically and solve novel problems
- Ability to show up on time, keep your appearance neat, and treat customers' property respectfully
- Ability to identify upgrade opportunities/preventive maintenance needs, clearly communicate the benefits of these services, and encourage customer approval without being pushy
- Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test
