Job Summary
Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledge of new and existing customer needs. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems. Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient, or underperforming systems. Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck while being accurate with invoices and curbside feedback. Participate actively in training exercises, morning meetings, and continued education. Requires 2+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and ability to lift up to 50lbs in variable weather. Compensation ranges from $30-40/hr plus additional opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of HVAC service experience (residential and light commercial)
- EPA Type II or Universal Certification
- Your own tools, gauges, and multimeter
- A clean driving record and valid license
- Must be able to navigate various job site environments, including climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and maneuvering around HVAC equipment
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, and manipulate tools and equipment weighing up to 50lbs and remain physically active for the duration of a shift
- Ability to work comfortably in variable weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather, while navigating unconditioned spaces like attics and crawlspaces
